Thermaltake's CT EX and CT EX Reverse ARGB Sync PC cooling fans are some of the company's newest products in its PC case fan offerings, and it has announced four new colours for both the CT EX's 120mm and 140mm sizes.

These new colours are Racing GreenGravel SandBumblebee and Pink. They add to the CT EX's original colour lineup of Black, White, Matcha Green and Hydrangea Blue, and with 16 CT EX fans and another 16 CT EX Reverse fans in 120mm and 140mm, Thermaltake has doubled the entire lineup.

While Thermaltake's CT series is a few years old now, the CT EX series has one notable upgrade over the original, that being the use of MagForce 2.0, marked by the 'EX' designation. MagForce is Thermaltake's cable solution for setting up your case fans, as the magnetic connectors on the side allow for daisy chaining them together. Only one fan needs to be wired up, and it can deliver power to the rest of the magnetically-connected fans in the chain, cutting the amount of cables needed.

MagForce originated with Thermaltake's SWAFAN EX fans, and MagForce 2.0 improves on the original design by expanding the contacts twofold, reducing faulty alignment.

The CT EX Reverse sports the same MagForce technology. But as you might've guessed, it reverses the direction of the blades, allowing for a more fuller spread of RGB colours inside the case, which is done through the nine addressable LEDs. The CT120 EX offers 68 CFM airflow, while the CT140EX does 90.3 CFM.
