Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection features thirteen pizza-loving titles
Arguably the most iconic quartet of crime-fighters this side of New York City, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello have graced many a kid's TV and console screen back in the day, and it seems they're all coming back to relive their greatest retro adventures in 2022.
Consisting of titles that were originally released for arcades as well as the NES, SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Game Boy consoles, Konami (in collaboration with Nickelodeon) has released the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection for both old and new fans of the half-shell to enjoy. From kicking Shredder to the can or giving the Foot the boot, you'll be able to ride, fight, and even swim alongside the turtles in thirteen different titles, as listed below:
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo)

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)
Of course, while you can certainly expect to see Master Splinter show up here and there, there's a lot of other goodies that Konami and collaborative partner Digital Eclipse have packed into this turtle-shaped nostalgia bomb. First, there's a whole host of quality of life improvements, including the ability to save at any time, button mapping functions, and improved couch co-op gameplay for all titles. Additionally, some titles will even feature online gameplay.
On top of that, players will also be provided with a game guide for each and every title above, ensuring you'll have what you need to fight crime and get back to the sewers while the pizza's still hot. Last but not least, take a trip through history with the new Museum feature, which packs iconic imagery and media from the multitude of TMNT cartoons, games, and comics over the years.
As for release and availability, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be purchasable for PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch sometime later this year, with Digital versions for the Asia region sporting a SRP of $39.99.
