Riot Games opens pre-registrations for Teamfight Tactics Mobile

Riot Games has announced the start of pre-registrations for their autobattler game, Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Mobile, in the Asia-Pacific region. The game is set to debut in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

TFT, a strategy game originating from the universe of League of Legends, involves eight players competing on a grid game board. Each player assembles a team of LoL champions and items, vying for dominance against seven adversaries. The ultimate goal? To have the last team standing.

Introduced in 2019, TFT has since carved a niche for itself, particularly for offering a nuanced, chess-like gameplay. With diverse strategies, it promises players a different gaming experience each time.

Eager fans from the APAC region, whether they've been with TFT on PC or are new mobile gamers, can indicate their interest for TFT Mobile's impending launch through its pre-registration microsite and on the Google Play Store. Updates about its availability on the App Store and in Vietnam are expected to be released subsequently.

This venture denotes Riot’s addition of a third self-published mobile game for the APAC audience, following the footprints of Legends of Runeterra and League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Earlier this year, Riot Games regained control over the publishing rights for both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics PC in the APAC region.
