TCL's 2017 Roku 4K TVs also support Dolby Vision HDR

Roku televisions were first introduced to the market two years ago, together with the announcement from Roku that TCL and Hisense will be the company’s official manufacturer and distributor of said televisions.

At CES 2017, TCL has officially unveiled its new lineup of 4K HDR Roku TVs, with models split between the company's C Series, P Series, and S Series.

Highlights of the new TVs include advanced features such as support for Dolby Vision high-dynamic range (HDR) technology, LED phosphors, and a Contrast Control technology. The end goal is basically to providing a more stunning imaging with vivid colors, deeper blacks, and brighter whites. In addition, the C, P, and S series all carry the latest Roku OS 7.5 that gives users access to more than 4,500 channels and 450,000 movies and TV episodes.

Here's a rundown of what to expect from each series:

  • Roku O/S

S Series: For Smart Value

  • 43" to 65" screen size
  • 4K HDR
  • 4K Creative Pro up-scaling

The new TCL Roku TVs will be available on March 2017.
