SuperSolid announces three new IPS monitors for gamers and creators

P24 Pro

Homegrown monitor brand SuperSolid has announced three new monitors targeted at gamers and content creators. The company previously offered only larger screens, but the new additions make available 24- and 27-inch models to consumers who still favour smaller displays.

The SuperSolid P27 Pro, P24 Pro, and T24 are all flat screen IPS displays with ultra-thin bezels on three sizes. They utilise a flicker-free 1,920 x 1,080-pixel panel that supports AMD FreeSync, but the P27 Pro and P24 Pro are aimed at gamers while the T24 has content creators in its sights.

SuperSolid says these are the start of a new range of colour-accurate IPS displays, where models with the Pro suffix indicate a focus on high refresh rates and speedy 1ms response times while retaining a minimalist industrial design.

The P27 Pro sports a 144Hz refresh rate and 99 per cent coverage of the sRGB colour gamut, in addition to a 1ms response time. For display inputs, you get one DisplayPort 1.2, one HDMI 2.0, and two HDMI 1.4 ports. Meanwhile, the P24 Pro is more than just a smaller version of the P27 Pro. It has a higher 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, alongside 135 per cent coverage of the sRGB colour space. Both monitors also ship with a height-adjustable stand.

Then there's the SuperSolid T24, a 24-inch screen which offers 92 per cent coverage of the sRGB colour gamut and a more modest 75Hz refresh rate. This is the most affordable display of the lot and it will appeal more to content creators than gamers.
