Casio G-Shock's reputation for toughness meets one of the most iconic video games in the Super Mario Brothers G-Shock watch, a unique collaboration that is sure to send gamers running to pick up the timepiece.
The DW-5600 watch has been dressed up in the colours of Mario. The watch face is framed by Mario's signature red and finished with a gold bezel, while the band is covered in a multi-angle pattern print of everyone's favourite plumber.
When you press the light button, Mario will light up on the display scoring a 1UP. The whole watch also comes in matching vivid red packaging.
On top of that, there is support for Smartphone Link, which wirelessly links with Bluetooth devices. This allows you to download an app on your smartphone to access conveniences like auto time adjustment, roughly 300 World Time cities, and a Phone Finder feature.
There's also something called Tough Solar Power, which allows the watch to recharge itself on solar energy for longer battery life.
All models come with the complete technical specifications of the G-Shock seal of shock resistance, 200m water resistance, hourly time signals, a countdown timer, and hand shift feature.
The Super Mario Brothers G-Shock DW-5600SMB-4 watch is now available to buy at S$219. It can be purchased online at Casio's website and will hit all G-Shock stores on December 14.
