SteelSeries celebrates 20th anniversary with Tusq in-ear mobile gaming headset

SteelSeries Tusq.

Sometimes, you'd want a simple gaming headset that works on mobile titles. Preferably one that's not too bulky and one where your annoying teammates can actually hear you when you foretell their imminent defeat.

On its 20th anniversary, SteelSeries is launching a new in-ear mobile gaming headset that checks all three boxes. The SteelSeries Tusq is a lightweight, wired, around-the-ear, earbud-first headphones with two microphones.

Of the dual microphone feature, one is a detachable boom mic that extends away from the headset. The other is a built-in mic for general-purpose audio. The boom mic provides heightened voice comms during games.

The SteelSeries Tusq also packs three sizes of silicone ear tips, and an included soft carrying case, making it possible to carry both the Tusq with extra ear tips, just in case. It's actually a pity that the device comes with a default 3.5mm audio jack, so you'll have to look out for port adapters if your mobile doesn't have a 3.5mm audio port.

The SteelSeries Tusq is available now at a promotional price of S$69 (U.P. S$75). It can be found on SteelSeries's official Lazada and Shopee storefront. It's also available at authorised dealers, although you'll have to check their official Facebook page for a full list of approved sellers.
