Steam's database reveals upcoming Mac models
Two upcoming Mac models are revealed in Steam's November survey.
The survey, which collects anonoymous information from Steam users who opted in to share specific details of their devices, lists two unreleased Mac models with the identifiers "Mac14,6" and Mac 15,4" alongside other identifiers that belong to the current Mac Studio, M2-powered MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
While the two unreleased Mac models have 0% usage on Steam's platform, Apple is likely to be testing them with new Apple Silicon chips. These identifiers are also spotted on two Geekbench scores.
Apple is expected to announce the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models by the first half of 2023. Other Macs in the pipeline include the Mac mini, Mac Pro and possibly a 15-inch MacBook Air.
