StarHub beefs up enterprise offerings with Cloud platform and automation processes

Local telco StarHub has rolled out new enterprise targeted workplace solutions. Firstly, offering a managed cloud networking service; and second, an automated onboarding process and access to an automation platform.

StarHub has entered into a partnership agreement with Alkira to offer Alkira’s Cloud Network as a Service (CNaaS) as the basis of an end-to-end managed solution in response to growing demand for hassle-free cloud connectivity from enterprise customers.

Alkira’s CNaaS makes it easier to provision and scale high-performance networking capacity across multiple cloud regions and multiple clouds, and to integrate cloud and data centre operations.

StarHub’s Cloud Network-as-a-Service leverages the Alkira solution to empower enterprises with the flexibility to scale their cloud connectivity according to business needs and the security safeguards to protect data from unauthorised access. StarHub will offer the Alkira service as a fully managed solution with lifecycle support from design and implementation to reporting and maintenance.

Addressing the demand for workplace automation

StarHub also partnered with Workato to address the growing demand for workplace automation.

Workplace automation refers to using systems to perform predictable and repetitive tasks without direct human input. This enables companies to simplify tasks and provide a better experience for their employees.

Some of the processes refer to onboarding processes by automating device provisioning, management, and security control systems. Building and managing automation workflows using Workato’s low-code/no-code platform. Simplifying day-to-day operations by integrating different technology solutions and SaaS applications to prevent fragmentation. Reducing the time needed to conduct mission-critical business process integrations and speed up innovation by eliminating manual work.

In addition to the new suite of enterprise automation software solutions, StarHub and Workato will also be collaborating on a hyper-automated mobile device management platform which will automate and streamline onboarding processes. This will provide small, medium, and large enterprises in Singapore access to easy-to-use and affordable hyperautomation platforms.
