StarHub has announced a new collaboration with Viu, PCCW’s over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service, for customers to catch over 12,000 hours of Asian content on StarHub TV+.

StarHub TV+ subscribers on Asian+ TV Pass are the big winners here as their subscription now comes with free Viu Premium access without paying a single cent more, saving them S$190 over their two-year StarHub subscription.

Non-Asian+ subscribers would have to pay $7.98 a month for Viu Premium access which is the same as subscribing to it yourself.

Do note that StarHub subscribers who were already also subscribed to Viu can access it through the StarHub TV+ box but not the app.

The telco has been rolling out streaming services over its StarHub TV+ platform and app such as Disney+, Netflix, and most recently, Amazon Prime. And just days back, StarHub's Entertainment+ TV Pass subscribers gained new entertainment channels like Paramount and Astro Sensasi.

Viu counts some of the most popular Asian content from Korea, China, and Hong Kong in its catalogue, with ad-free, English-subtitled episodes ready as fast as five hours after telecast.

StarHub TV+'s Asian+ subscribers should find that the Viu app has been automatically made available on their TV+ boxes and they can start accessing content like 2 Days 1 Night (Season 4) and Men on a Mission now.
