StarHub will be extending its free speed boost promotion, also known as the 4G value-added service (VAS) till the 31^st December 2013. Previously, the promotion was valid till 31^st March 2013.

The extension will be welcomed by consumers as it seems unreasonable to charge an additional $10.70 for the 4G VAS when SingTel is charging a standard price for its 3G and 4G plans.
