Specs sheet of the Samsung Galaxy S23 models revealed

The specs of the Samsung Galaxy S23 models have been revealed by two sources.

According to WinFuture, the European variants of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will have a 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display respectively. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and supports 120Hz refresh rates and HDR10+.

While both models will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8GB RAM, the Galaxy S23 has internal storage options of 128GB/256GB and the Galaxy S23+ has internal storage options of 256GB/512GB. The rear camera system is the same on both models; there is a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS and Dual Pixel, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle lens, and a 10MP f/2.4 telephoto lens. On the front is a 12MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Other specs include Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, IP68 water/dust resistance, Dual SIM, GPS, face detection, Dolby Atmos, and Wireless PowerShare. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ will have a 3,900mAh battery and 4,700mAh battery respectively.

As for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it will also be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM configurations. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will sport a 6.8-inch 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, 5000mAh battery, ultra-wideband, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6E and NFC.

The recently announced ISOCELL HP2 is indeed exclusive to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The other two cameras on the Galaxy S23 Ultra are the same as the Galaxy S22 Ultra; 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, 10MP f/2.4 telephoto lens, and 10MP f/4.9 telephoto lens.

Samsung will be holding its Galaxy Unpacked event on 2 February, 2am (SGT) to unveil the Galaxy S23 Series.
