OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei teased that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone could be more powerful than the OnePlus 2. So how powerful could it be? Well, sources told G for Games that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will sport some impressive features.

While the upcoming OnePlus smartphone (referred as the OnePlus Mini) is said to sport a 5-inch Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) display, G for Games claims that it will incorporate Synaptics' S3700 series touch screen controller which will provide 3D Touch-like features. However, it is unclear how OnePlus will implement pressure-sensitive touch navigation for the smartphone.

Other reported specs include dual front-facing 1.2W stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 camera with phase-detection autofocus and electronic image stabilization, an IR blaster, FM radio, an interchangeable StyleSwap cover, a non-removable battery which supports wireless charging, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB RAM.

The OnePlus Mini is expected to be launched before the end of the year and in time for Christmas. Leaked renders of the phone suggest that it could sport a rather thin design too.
