More details on LG's upcoming rollable phone and flagship phone for 2021 have been revealed.

Korean site ETNews reports that LG plans to release its next flagship phone (codenamed Rainbow) in March 2021. It will also unveil the LG Rollable and another budget phone (codenamed Q83) in the first half of the year.

The LG Rollable device is stated to have a screen that can be stretched out to 7.4-inches from 6.8-inches. Unlike existing foldable phones which have a crease, the LG Rollable is said to have none. LG's patents on a rollable display were recently discovered by LetsGoDigital.

In addition, the slim and portable form factor is expected to be the main selling point of the Rollable phone. According to ETNews, an official from a telco in Korea said that the usability and handling of the LG Rollable is better than current foldable phones in the market.

The LG Rainbow will adopt a more conventional form factor, a bar-type design. Tipped as the successor to the LG Velvet, the Rainbow is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and will come with a stylus.
