Sony announces trade-in promotion for its new WH-1000XM4 headphone

From today until the end of September, Sony is introducing a trade-in promotion for its new WH-1000XM4 headphone.

Introduced in early August, the WH1000XM4 is Sony's flagship wireless headphone with active noise-cancellation.

This new headphone offers improved noise-cancellation performance and some quality-of-life updtes including multi-point support so that you can connect to two devices simultaneously, and a new "Speak-to-Chat" function that automatically stops the music and turns on ambient sound mode when you speak.

The trade-in promotion will let buyers to take as much as S$80 off the WH-1000XM4's S$549 price tag.

A rather long list of headphones is eligible for trade-in so it's best that you head to the webpage that Sony has set up to check if yours is one of them.

But it includes rival models like the Bose Headphones 700, Bose QuietComfort 35, Audio-Technica ATH-ANC9, Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC, and Beoplay H9 3rd gen.

You can also trade-in Sony models like the older WH-1000XM3 and WF-1000XM3.

The trade-in promotion is available at Sony Stores and authorised Sony dealers like Challenger, Courts, Best Denki, Harvey Norman, Stereo, and more. You can also trade-in online on the Sony Store Online.
