In what must be one of the biggest surprises so far at CES 2020, Sony showed off a concept electric car called the Vision-S.

Presumably, the S stands for Sony and before the Sony fans get too excited, it's unlikely this car will ever go on sale.

Instead, it's meant as a showcase of Sony's various technologies and components. Most notably, Sony is one of the world's major producer of image sensors, many of which can be employed in cars.

The Vision-S consists of 33 sensors and features an ultra-widescreen display for its dashboard. It also features 360° audio and wireless connectivity.

During the car's presentation, Sony CEO said, "This prototype embodies our contribution to the future of mobility."

These are the partners that helped create the Vision-S.

He also said that the car was developed with the help of partners including Magna Steyr, Bosch, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, ZF, Blackberry, and more.

Apart from the Vision-S, Sony also unveiled the official logo of PlayStation 5 during its CES 2020 keynote.
