Sony’s latest oil-lamp like glass speaker, it's third in the range - the LSPX-S3, is now available in Singapore.

The wireless speaker features an organic glass tweeter with three actuators that Sony says allows it to send sound in all directions around it. Like its predecessors, it still illuminates with 32 different brightness levels and four different lighting modes so it can provide mood lighting in a living room or go brighter as a bedside light.

It even features a built-in microphone, so you can take business calls from anywhere in the home.

The LSPX-S3 has a 46mm speaker unit that Sony says, creates a well-balanced mid-range, and a passive radiator that enhances clear low-end notes.

Users can adjust sound levels, set a sleep timer, and control the lights using the Sony Music Centre app on their smartphones.

Portable and with an eight-hour battery life, it is rechargeable via the USB-C charging port. Users can also link two units for stereo playback or connect multiple units together to be part of a multi-room audio system.
