Sony to Launch PlayStation Store for PlayStation Mobile on 3rd October

Sony is set to deliver dedicated content for PlayStation Mobile via the PlayStation Store on 3 October.

PlayStation-like content will be offered to a variety of popular mobile devices in nine countries including Japan, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia with more countries to follow. At launch, users can enjoy about 30 new titles form a range of genres such as Action, Puzzle, Sports, and Simulation, between JPY$50 to JPY$850.

Also, Fujitsu Limited and Sharp Corporation will collaborate with Sony Computer Entertainment in the PlayStation Certified license program, to deliver the PlayStation experience to even more smartphone and tablet users worldwide.

On top of that, the PlayStation Mobile Developer Program which includes the official version of PlayStation Mobile SDK will become available to the development community in November. This will be rolled out in a phased manner in 11 countries and regions. The PlayStation Mobile Developer Program will allow developers to easily distribute their content through PlayStation Store on a commercial basis and market their games to millions of dedicated gamers with PlayStation Certified devices and PS Vita.
