Sony keeps the party going with their latest SRS-XB41 wireless speaker

The SRS-XB41 is Sony’s latest portable speaker from their EXTRA BASS series. It features a new DSP (Digital Sound Processor) with LIVE SOUND mode that’s said to create a three-dimensional music experience that will make you feel like the performers are right in front of you.

It comes in a new fabric design that offers a choice of three colors (black, dark red, and dark blue) and remains robust and washable, so you won’t have to worry about drink spills. It’s also waterproof and dust proof with an IP67 rating and rustproof, so you can drop them in the pool, a puddle of mud or even right in the surf without fear of damage.

Thanks to the new Wireless Party chain feature, you can also hook up the SRS-XB41 to more than a 100 different speakers (Sony SRS-XB41/31/21 only), creating a literal sound wall that’s bound to get all your friends involved. There’s also a new ‘Party Booster’ feature which, as you can see in the video below, lets you literally play the speaker like a music instrument.

Finally, the SRS-XB41 has speaker lights, multi-color lights, and flashing strobe lights to create a full-on EDM atmosphere in your home. It’s an EDM party with light show that features your favorite music!

The SRS-XB41 will be available in Asia Pacific countries from Q2 2018, but price has yet to be announced.
