Sony has revealed all the games arriving with the revamped PS Plus subscriptions

Earlier this year, Sony announced that they would be revising their PlayStation Plus subscription concept into three different tiers - namely PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium, as part of a move to deliver more customised experiences for their different audience demographics.

Now, we've already done up a comprehensive guide on the new tier systems in March (here you go!), but what Sony didn't provide before was the list of additional games and content that would be available at launch. Case in point, it seems they've decided to drop that bombshell today, and there are actually quite a number of fantastic in-house and third-party picks from each category.

Currently, the list provided includes recent AAA titles like Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Control: Ultimate Edition, classic PS/PSP hits (and remasters) like Super Stardust Portable, Worms Armageddon, and BioShock Remastered (for PS4), and even a fair amount of PS3 titles that are available for streaming, such as Demon's Souls and F.E.A.R. Additionally, if you're subscribed to the Premium tier, you'll also be able to enjoy time-limited game trials for titles like Horizon Forbidden West and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands

However, do note that most, if not all of the games above will only be available for subscribers in the Extra and Premium tiers, as the lowest tier - PS Plus Essential merely provides the baseline conveniences that gamers need to play online and enjoy basic community interactions. Personally, we highly recommend checking out the full (and extremely extensive) list of games that you'll get to enjoy with the higher-tier subscriptions on the associated blog post while you're at it. As a matter of fact, it's actually so extensive that we can't quite fit everything into this article, and these are just the list of "launch titles" to boot.

As for when the new system is scheduled to take effect, Sony has noted in a separate blog post that it will be added between end-May and June depending on where you live, so make sure to do your homework and select your desired subscription tier accordingly when that happens. Happy gaming!
