Venom 2 wasn’t the only movie to get hit with a delay during this pandemic.

Disney and Sony Pictures have announced more movie delays, pushing back follow-ups to Spider-Man: Far From Home and Doctor Strange, among others. Production has been halted on multiple Marvel movies, so it makes sense that we'll see more release dates get pushed back as time goes on.

First off, the sequel to critically acclaimed animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has been delayed from April 8, 2022 to October 7, 2022. After almost dropping out of existence entirely, the third Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland will move from July 16, 2021 to November 5, 2021

Marvel Studios also announced that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is getting hit with yet another delay, moving from November 5, 2021 to March 25, 2022. Interestingly, Thor: Love and Thunder was also bumped a week forward from February 18, 2022 to February 11, 2022. That means we’re getting two Marvel Studios movies in two months that year!

Sony also bumped up the Tom Holland-led Uncharted movie from October 2021 to July 2021, but I’m not nearly as excited for that. Nathan Fillion for Nathan Drake or nothing, I say.
