Some MacBook Air (2018) users complained about poor FaceTime HD camera quality
The MacBook Air (2018) is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, but its FaceTime HD camera could be worse in image and video quality.
There is a growing number of users on Apple Support Forumd who are complaining about the poor FaceTime HD camera quality. One user claimed that the image quality of the FaceTime HD camera is worse than that of the iPhone 7’s front-facing camera. Another user speculates the issue could be due to sensor resolution or software issue.
Some users even compared the camera quality with that of the old MacBook Air, and found the new model to be worse. At the time of publication, Apple has not commented on the matter.
If you’ve recently bought the new MacBook Air, did you encounter the same issue? Share in the comments section below.
