MyRepublic achieved a median download speed of 362.34Mbps, and a median upload speed of 300.32Mbps to win its title. In second place was ViewQwest, which recorded a download speed of 336.92Mbps, and SingTel with 332.19Mbps. This isn’t the first time that MyRepublic’s been placed first. What is nice though, is that its download speed is more than 100Mbps faster this time round meaning that Singaporeans are enjoying even faster speeds than before.

MyRepublic also placed first in the Overall Connectivity Score category with a score of 83.89. This just pipped Singtel and ViewQwest at 82.72 and 82.6 respectively. This score provides a measure of the overall fixed network connected experience based on a combination of Speed Score, as well as Scores for Web Browsing, and Video Streaming.

However, Singtel was the Most Consistent Fixed ISP with a score of 93.4%. But it was only 0.3% ahead of MyRepublic at 93.1%.

It will be interesting to see how the ISPs perform as we move towards 10Gbps Internet to the home. But as we said earlier, the big winners in all of this are Singaporeans, who are getting access to faster and more reliable speeds.
