Singtel and Great Eastern launch flexible home and contents insurance plan at S$8 a month

Singtel and Great Eastern today announced the launch of Singtel Home Protect Flexi, a home and contents insurance plan for Singtel customers.

For S$8 a month those who subscribe to the plan will get up to S$80,000 for household content and renovations coverage and up to S$500,000 for personal liability insurance. Do note that the plan has the same coverage for both apartments and landed properties.

An enhancement of Singtel’s home insurance offering, Singtel Home Protect, which needed a one or two-year commitment, Singtel Home Protect Flexi is available as a no-contract plan meaning customers can cancel at any time should they no longer need the coverage. However, Singtel Home Protect is still available for Singtel customers with the same time commitment.

To prevent any lapse in protection, a subscriber’s coverage will be automatically updated with their new address whenever they move as the plan is tied to the customer’s Singtel broadband subscription.

As a launch promotion special, all first-time customers will enjoy the first two months free if they sign up now until 31 December 2023. To qualify for Singtel Home Protect Flexi, customers need only be an existing Singtel broadband subscriber. The plan is available now at all Singtel shops, Singtel’s website or its customer care hotline on 1688.
