Close to three months after launching the 20GB for $20 GOMO mobile plan, Singtel announced that data roaming is now available now for GOMO subscribers.

Known as Roaming Data Pump, you can purchase it at $10 for 1GB data to use across 10 destinations for 10 days. The 10 destinations include Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan and South Korea.

GOMO subscribers can use 1GB across any of the 10 destinations within the 10-day period. For example, they can use 200MB in Malaysia on the first two days and 800MB in Thailand for the remaining 8 days. Roaming Data Pump is available on 4G networks and GOMO subscribers can share the data with their friends via mobile hotspot.

GOMO subscribers can sign up for Roaming Data Pump up to 1 day in advance via the GOMO app. They also can purchase up to two Roaming Data Pumps (2GB). The expiry of the total data bundle will extended by 10 days from the date of the additional purchase.

Do note that the phone's network settings have to be set up in order to connect with the overseas' network operators while travelling. You can refer to this guide if there are any connection issues.
