Singtel fights back with new XO plans, offering more data and bundling HBO GO

As a response to new plans from the likes of Starhub and Circles.Life, Singtel is now expanding its single Combo XO plan with three new XO plans.

The new XO 48, XO 78 and XO 108 plans will continue to come with attractive handset discounts but will come with larger data allowances as well as bundled entertainment in the form of HBO GO. So if you like shows like Games of Thrones, Westworld, and True Detective, this is good news.

Below is a table summarizing the three new plans. If a subscription to HBO GO is something you want, it's important to note that only the XO 78 and XO 108 plans come with 24 months of HBO GO.

And if that's not enough data for you, you can pay an extra $18 a month to get 18GB of additional data on all XO plans - a mainstay of the previous Combo XO plan.

Singtel customers typically use their mobile data to watch about 9 hours of video content each month. Smartphones are fast becoming the go-to device to stream entertainment content and our new XO plans enable our customers to enjoy non-stop entertainment anytime and anywhere. With HBO Go on us, customers can even watch the long-awaited final season of Game of Thrones when it airs at 9am on Monday, 15 April, on their commute to work! - Ms Gan Siok Hoon, Vice President, Mobile Marketing & Sales, Consumer Singapore at Singtel.

To celebrate the launch of these new plans, users who sign up from now until the end of March (31 March 2019) will get even more mobile data. Extra 5GB for the XO 48, 10GB for the XO 78 and 20GB for the XO 108. This brings their respective caps to 10GB, 40GB, and 70GB respectively!

The XO plans are available for sign-up and/or re-contract beginning today at Singtel's booth at the IT Show 2019,  Singtel Shops, Singtel Exclusive Retails, or online. For more information, visit
