Singtel announces data-free Apple Music subscription

Singtel has just announced a pretty sweet deal for Apple Music.

Beginning from tomorrow, Singtel postpaid mobile customers will be able to subscribe to Apple Music and stream Apple Music with no data charges.

That’s right, streaming Apple Music will not count towards your mobile data usage.

This is great for users as it means they can stream from Apple Music without worrying about their data usage.

Some users get around this problem by downloading songs to their devices so that they can listen ‘offline’. But this method comes at the expense of consuming their devices’ storage space.

Apple Music presently has a catalog of over 45 million songs. Subscription to Apple Music also includes Beats 1, a global live stream of radio shows.

As a sweetener, new and re-contracting customers who sign up for the service will also enjoy 6 months subscription free with no minimum contract.

Customers can sign up for data-free Apple Music from tomorrow at Singtel here.
