Sideshow has announced a Cyberpunk 2077 range of collectibles
Make no mistake, people; CD Projekt RED is on an absolute roll. Over the past few years, they've been pumping out one AAA title after the other, with equally stellar results to show for it. From the amazing RPG that we know as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, to the breathtaking dystopia of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, they're an excellent role model where game development and quality are concerned.
Speaking of models, Sideshow has recently announced a partnership with CD Projekt for Cyberpunk 2077 collectible merchandise - check it out here!
Sideshow?
Despite what their name implies, Sideshow is anything but. Fundamentally, they're a highly acclaimed studio that specialises in limited edition figures, busts, art pieces and other collectors' items, including those from gaming franchises such as The Witcher and Assassin's Creed.
Now, it's a pity we don't have any images of the pieces yet, much less a release date, but given Sideshow's impressive reputation, we can be sure the workmanship will be top-notch...with a price to match. For reference, one of their 1:4 scale Animus Ezio models from Assassin's Creed goes for over $600, but if you've got the change to spare, quality over quantity, right?
Anyway, interested fans can "RSVP" on Sideshow's website to receive the latest updates on the Cyberpunk 2077 models, which we expect will include at least one replica of Keanu Reeves' character Johnny Silverhand. Rest assured that both the detail and the price on that will be "breathtaking".
