Sharp has just launched their new AQUOS The Scenes 8K series of smart TVs across ASEAN.

With more people spending time in front of the TV over the past few years Sharp says that the new AQUOS The Scenes 8K series will bring an immersive experience into the home with pre-programmed scenes like a Home-cinema scene, Music-live scene, and Latergram scene to share the family memories.

Pair this with Android TV and you have an easier way to get more from your TV.

Yoshihiro Hashimoto, Senior Executive Managing Officer, Head of Asian, Oceanian, and European Business at Sharp said:

AQUOS The Scenes 8K creates an exciting experience of overwhelming images and sound effects that changes our customers’ houses into a theatre.

Bringing 60 and 70 inches of viewing pleasure

There are two models in the AQUOS The Scenes 8K series. As the new flagship AQUOS models, they provide 8K UHD resolution in 60 (8T-C60DW1X) and 70 (8T-C70DW1X) - inch options.

They both have a newly developed Deep Chroma Display Pro that Sharp says achieves a colour gamut that exceeds 100% of the digital cinema colour gamut standard, and 167% of the screen brightness compared to Sharp's CK series according to an internationally recognised measurement. The colour area is widened by Sharp's unique high quality 8K UV2A panel made in Japan with a low reflection structure, and a newly developed backlight.

The Z2 revelation Processor brings 20% faster CPU Performance and 56% faster graphics compared to Sharp's AX1 model. This means you can upgrade your video experience without any special signal or video source.

And an improved video experience is well within the capabilities of the new AQUOS The Scenes 8K series with a new HDR Enhanced image processing from Sharp (patent pending). This optimises the middle tones, where people can easily perceive contrast, by optimising the amount of light by detecting darker and brighter areas and driving its backlight by areas.

Share family pictures with the Sharp Cocoro Album. It uses AI recognition to automatically name family members, places, and times to create memory folders that can be easily viewed and shared.

Android TV gives more viewing options with access to multiple streaming apps. The TVs also come with Streaming Video Optimizer that performs noise reduction and tone correction to streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime. This means you can enjoy clear and comfortable images with less noise.
