See some of the new emoji coming to iOS, macOS, and watchOS later this year

Did you know it is World Emoji Day? Neither did I.

Anyhow, to celebrate World Emoji Day, Apple is previewing some of the new emoji that users will be able to find and use when the latest versions of iOS, macOS, and watchOS drop later this year.

The new emoji will let people express themselves in fresh ways. Obviously, it will also open whole new opportunities to annoy and confuse your friends.

Some of the new emoji include Woman with Headscarf, Bearded Person and Breastfeeding, as well as food such as Sandwich and Coconut.

There are also new animals and creatures emoji in the form of T-Rex, Zebra, Zombie and Elf.

And as for smiley faces, users should find the new Star-Struck and Exploding Head emoji quite amusing.

In addition to previewing these new emoji, the movies in the iTunes Movie store have also had their titles replaced by emoji. See how many of the movie titles you can guess.
