With video conferencing here to stay, being able to see more and more significantly, viewing the right person at the right time, is important. And with the update to RightSight that Logitech has released, you can do just that when you update your Logitech Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini.

Bryan Lee, Head of Video Collaboration, Logitech Southeast Asia, said:

Remote workers often feel excluded during video calls with in-office colleagues. They may miss important in-room interactions or struggle to keep up with the meeting flow.

Where the original RightSight only allowed you to have a closeup view of the speaker, RightSight 2’s Speaker View allows you to view the entire room and the speaker at the same time.

RightSight 2 combines audio and video intelligence to detect people’s placement in the room and the location of their voices. The active speaker is framed using the main camera that pans and zooms smoothly as the speaker changes, while the wide-angle AI Viewfinder frames the room, ensuring remote participants can see and hear all meeting exchanges clearly.

The technology is smart enough to realise when it isn’t needed. For example, when there is only one person in the room, it knows that there is no need to show both the view of the room and the Speaker View.

Speaker View works with major cloud video conferencing solutions such as Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows and Android, Zoom Rooms, Google Meet, GoTo Room, Pexip Rooms, RingCentral Rooms, and Tencent Meeting Rooms.
