Seagate launches data recovery service in Singapore

Seagate Rescue comes to Singapore as of today, and will be delivered in partnership with key surveillance solutions providers in Singapore, including Certis CISCO and Synix Technology Pte Ltd. What it is, is a complete protection plan that covers data recovery services at a fraction of the cost of typical data recovery services purchased after the event.

Call it a form of insurance for surveillance drives if you may. Activated at time of purchase, Seagate Rescue services provide three years of data recovery for data that may be lost due to physical damage, corruption or accidental deletion. This should help keep systems operating longer and reduce post-deployment expenses, as Seagate Rescue Services can typically restore data within two weeks depending on the type of recovery— with up to a greater than 90% success rate.

Engineered specifically for surveillance and video analytics applications, Seagate’s surveillance drives are available in capacities ranging from 1TB to 6TB, and are widely used by leading security and surveillance solutions providers across the Asia region, like Certis CISCO and Synix Technology in Singapore.
