Sapphire Set to Launch X79 Mainboard

Sapphire announces the Sapphire Pure Black X79N.

A full ATX sized board that supports the Intel processors in the LGA2011 package, the Sapphire Pure Black X79N, which is aimed at the enthusiast, features 4 DDR3 DIMM slots supporting up to 32GB of quad channel memory. The Sapphire Mainboard TriXX software allows users to review and adjust a range of system parameters while optimizing performance of the CPU.

Equipped with a total of six PCIe Gen 2.5 and Gen 3.0 slots which have x16 or x8 bandwidth, it supports the CrossFireX technology. PCIe jumpers allow some channels to be disabled. Extensive storage options are provided by a total of four SATA III 6Gb/s and four SATA II 3Gb/s ports as well as two e-SATA ports on the rear panel. I/O support includes a total of 6 USB 3.0 ports (4 on rear panel) and 10 USB2.0 ports (6 on rear panel).
