Samsung working on its first foldable, dual-screen smartphone for 2016?

Samsung unveiled flexible YOUM OLED display technologies at Consumer Electronics Show 2013.

While consumers are warming up to smartphones with curved displays, Samsung is said to be busy working on the next generation smartphone which sports foldable and two displays.

According to SamMobile, the smartphone is in the early stages of development under the project codename "Valley". The smartphone is said to support multiple gestures for switching between the two displays. SamMobile also speculates that Project Valley hints that we may be looking at a smartphone with foldable screens.

It has been more than two years since Samsung unveiled its new line of flexible YOUM OLED displays at Consumer Electronics Show 2013. With advances in manufacturing processes and technologies, it is not far fetched to assume that Samsung is in good stead to bring flexible displays to consumer devices next year.
