Samsung brings its vivid AMOLED displays to the younger, trendier crowd at competitive prices with their new Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016). Priced at S$268 and the S$348 respectively, the new Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J5 makes Samsung's smartphones much more affordable than its flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge phones.

The 5.0-inch Galaxy J3 features an 8-megapixel rear camera, while the 5.2-inch Galaxy J5 has a 13-megapixel rear camera. By comparison, the flagship Galaxy S7 has a 12-megapixel rear camera. Both phones have a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture, so selfies are certainly a cinch with these devices. Both phones have the Quick Launch Camera feature, making it easier for its users to quickly capture their favorite moments via a simple double-tapping of the Home button.

Both the Galaxy J3 (2016) and the Galaxy J5 (2016) come with dual-SIM support and a MicroSD card slot. While one SIM slot can only support up to LTE Cat 4 at any given time, both phones are still versatile since a user can manage their mobile data while getting more storage flexibility.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is already available in colors Black or Gold, and the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) will start retail on 2nd June 2016 in colors White or Gold. Both phones will be available at local telco shops, selected major electronic stores, authorized retailers, and of course, Samsung Experience Stores.
