Samsung said to be supplying OLED panel for the MacBook Air

Apple is reportedly working on a 13.3-inch MacBook Air with OLED display.

TheElec claims Samsung Display will be the exclusive supplier for the 13.3-inch MacBook Air as LG Display does not have the capacity to supply OLED panels for the MacBook Air and iPad Pro models.

While Samsung secures the deal to supply OLED panels for the 13.3-inch MacBook Air, it is only making OLED screens for the 11-inch iPad Pro. LG Display is said to be supplying OLED panels for the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro.

Bloomberg reported in January that "a major revamp for the iPad Pro" could arrive in spring 2024 where consumers can expect an "updated design" and OLED screens. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo estimates the MacBook with OLED display to launch in end 2024.
