Samsung reportedly sold more than 200,000 units of Galaxy Z Flip in March

While the global smartphone shipment remains weak due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Samsung reportedly saw an uptick in sales of its Galaxy Z Flip in March.

According to a report by Econotimes, Samsung managed to sell 230,000 units of the Galaxy Z Flip in March. This represents a 56.1% month-on-month increase and indicates that the Galaxy Z Flip was in an upwards trajectory one month after its launch.

When compared to the Galaxy Fold which saw sales of over 400,000 units in 2019, the Galaxy Z Flip is doing relatively well. Samsung recently launched the Mirror Gold variant in Singapore and other countries, which should help maintain the sales momentum.

Samsung is believed to be working on the next generation Galaxy Z Flip. Recent patent applications reveal that it may come with three cameras and a bigger cover display.
