Samsung is reportedly considering to use BOE's OLED displays for the Galaxy S21

The Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+.

Samsung may not be using its own OLED panels for the Galaxy S21 phones next year.

Market research firm DSCC claims that Samsung is in talks with BOE for 6.67-inch flexible OLED panels for at least one Galaxy S21 model. The South Korean company is also considering to use BOE's OLED panels for the Galaxy A91.

The switch to BOE's OLED panels for at least one Galaxy S flagship model could help Samsung lower the production costs of the phone. BOE is also said to be supplying 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED panels to Apple for the iPhone 12.
