Samsung may be unable to deploy its Exynos 2500 in some Galaxy S25 models.

The Business Korea reports that Samsung is experiencing poor production yields of its 3nm Exynos 2500 chips. Since the yield remains low, it is uncertain if sufficient quantities could be ready in time for the Galaxy S25 launch in January next year.

Aside from the unstable yield of the Exynos 2500 chip, Samsung is also believed to be facing delays in its 2nm process. This would seriously hamper the South Korean company's efforts to catch up with market leader TSMC in securing high-value customers such as NVIDIA and Apple.

Rumours suggest that Samsung could use the Exynos 2500 chips to power the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ while reserving Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile platform for the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra

If reports on Samsung's Exynos 2500 woes are true, the company might be forced to use the Snapdragon mobile platform across its next-generation Galaxy S flagship phones. This strategy is nothing new as the Galaxy S23 series was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
