Completing the EZ-Link NFC SIM Card pairing with Samsung Pay within this November comes with chances to win free stuff, so check the Samsung website (provided below) for details.

Samsung Singapore announced the expansion of the Samsung Pay mobile payment ecosystem on 18th November 2016. The service is now available on more Samsung devices, specifically the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016). The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) will get Samsung Pay functionalities at a later date. To use Samsung Pay on those smartphones, users will need to do a software update for the device, after which they can access the mobile wallet service through its icon on the Home screen.

The Samsung Gear S3 wearable also supports Samsung Pay via the Samsung Gear smartphone app. This wearable is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.4 OS (KitKat) and newer, thus allowing phones such as the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6 to use Samsung Pay. To do so, users need to input their card details into the Samsung Gear app, and they can pay using the Gear S3 wearable. Previously, only the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 supported Samsung Pay at launch.

In addition, Samsung Pay now supports brand loyalty cards and EZ-Link NFC SIM cards. According to Samsung Singapore, almost any brand loyalty card that uses a barcode can be stored within Samsung Pay. This eliminates the need to physically carry multiple cards for the sake of redeeming membership benefits and accumulating loyalty points. Samsung’s partnership with Mobeam, a mobile-commerce startup, enabled the Korean electronics maker to store barcode information as a beam of light, allowing barcode scanners to scan smartphone screens.

This barcode loyalty card feature is only available on the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5.

EZ-Link NFC SIM card users who pair their EZ-Link-enabled SIM card to Samsung Pay will get to view transaction history and value balance from the app. In case you missed it, the latest EZ-Link NFC SIM card works for retail and transit payments. EZ-Link SIM support can be found on the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016). The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) will get this feature at a later date.
