Samsung missed another launch window for its Galaxy Home smart speaker
Samsung's third financial quarter ended on 30 September and there is no official word on the retail availability of its Galaxy Home smart speaker.
This is said to be the second time that the Galaxy Home smart speaker missed its launch window. CEO Kim Hyun-Suk reportedly shared with The Korea Herald that the Galaxy Home smart speaker would launch in the mid-second half of the year, which other Samsung executives interpreting it as sometime in Q3.
The Galaxy Home smart speaker was initially slated for launch in April, but Samsung did not provide any explanation other than it was "still planning to launch" in the first half of 2019. The Bixby-powered Galaxy Home was announced more than a year ago.
