Samsung launches the Android 8.0 Oreo beta program for the Galaxy S8

Samsung announced the launch of Samsung Experience 9.0 beta for select customers to test and experience new features.

Starting from 2 November, Galaxy S8 and S8+ users in South Korea, the U.S and the U.K can preview the upcoming Samsung Experience 9.0 beta before its official release. The beta period allows Samsung to gather insights and feedback on the user experience, performance and usability of Samsung Experience 9.0 beta.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ users in these countries who want to apply and be part of the beta program must have an active Samsung Account and meet specific requirements. The beta program can be provided via the Samsung Members app or the Samsung+ app for the U.S.

The end date of the beta program will differ by country and subjected to changes. The Samsung Experience 9.0, which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo, will ship on the next flagship Galaxy device.
