Samsung may be introducing its own version of Google's Night Sight feature on the Galaxy S10.

XDA-Developers was decompiling the stock Samsung Camera APK from the Galaxy Note9's OneUI/Android Pie build when it discovered several interesting strings that describe a feature similar to the Night Sight on the Pixel 3.

From the codes above, a smart tip will appear when the phone detects a dark or low-light scene and recommends the user to select "Bright Night" mode. This mode works by taking multiple shots and combining them to get brighter, clearer photos in low light without having to use the LED flash.

Similar night mode features can be found in other Android handsets such as the OnePlus (Nightscape), Huawei (Night Mode), Honor (Super Bright Mode) and Xiaomi (Night Scene), but Google's Night Sight on the Pixel 3 is probably the most well-known of the lot.

While there is no indication on when the feature will be released, it makes sense for Samsung to introduce "Bright Night" on the Galaxy S10 to catch up with the rest of the competition.
