Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 chipset scores pop up on Geekbench

With Samsung’s H2 product launches nearing soon, more details on what’s to come are starting to surface on various corners of the Internet. The latest of which is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, with its chipset’s CPU benchmark scores showing up on Geekbench.

According to GSMArena, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 sports SM-F936U as its U.S. model number. The Geekbench 5 readout showed the mobile device touting Android 12 with hints of 12GB RAM on the device.

A closer look at the single and multi-core readings implies that the chipset may be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 since those numbers are close to what the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Oppo Find X5 Pro pulled in during our reviews.

Previous leaks said that the Galaxy Z Fold4 may launch in the second week of August 2022 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip4. The Galaxy Z Fold4 also reportedly is more durable with a new type of glass called Super UTG.
