Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic rumours claim a bigger display with a higher resolution than before

Smartphone and wearable devices tipster Ice Universe (@universeice on Twitter) recently said that the yet-to-release Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic will feature an increased screen size, which is probably good news for Samsung fans that rely on their smartwatch for notifications.

The tipster said that the Watch6 Classic will see a screen size of 1.47 inches, with the “correspondingly improved” resolution. We take that to mean that the Watch6 Classic will maintain the same pixel density even with the increased display size.

For reference, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro have a 1.36-inch AMOLED display (for 44mm and 45mm variants), with a 396 x 396 pixels resolution on both. To maintain its pixel density, the wearables need a 470 x 470 pixels resolution, said GSMArena.
