A more powerful variant of the Galaxy S5 is making its way to Singapore soon.

Based on the Equipment Search List on the IDA's website, Samsung Asia Pte. Ltd has brought in a variant of the Galaxy S5 with the model number SM-G901F. The current Galaxy S5 sold in Singapore carries the model number SM-G900F.

The SM-G901F refers to the Galaxy S5 LTE-A which was announced in South Korea two months ago. Apparently, there are two variants of this model heading to different countries. The model announced in Korea sports a 5.1-inch Quad-HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) display while an European variant is listed as having only a Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) display.

It is unknown at press time which model will be launched in Singapore. As LG already has a head start with the G3, we believe Samsung would want to catch up with a similar offering. We've reached out to Samsung Mobile Singapore on this issue and will update this section if we have more information.
