Samsung to roll out software fix for the Galaxy S24 display

Samsung will allow Galaxy S24 users to personalise their viewing experience.

After two conflicting reports on whether the company acknowledged the display issue on the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has finally confirmed a software fix is on the way.

In a news release, the South Korean company announced that an upcoming update will provide "enhanced options and experiences across the device display and camera, enabled by advanced hardware and software integration efforts."

Samsung would introduce a "Vividness" option under "Advanced settings" where Galaxy S24 users can adjust for their optimal viewing experience. The company also said that it tuned the display for a more natural viewing experience, but customers' feedback indicates that they want a more vibrant display.

Without going into specifics, Samsung states that it has made improvements to the camera experience such as the device's zoom functions, Portrait Mode, Nightography, rear camera video recording capabilities and more.

The software update is slated to roll out later this month.
