Leaked materials suggests custom Snapdragon chip and downgraded selfie camera for Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung will finally unveil the new Galaxy S23 later this week. But we still have leaks trickling in.
The latest one from leaker Roland Quandt suggests that the Galaxy S23 will use a custom version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
Details surrounding the specs of this chips are scarce but leaked marketing materials clearly show a Snapdragon Gen 2 logo with the words "For Galaxy."
Quandt also showed off a leaked comparison table which shows that the Galaxy S23 Ultra, S23+, and S23 are going to be quite similar.
In fact, according to the table, the key differences are screen size, main camera, and battery capacity.
Interestingly, it also looks like Samsung is downgrading the Ultra's selfie camera from 40MP to a 12MP unit this year.
Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S23 this week on 2 February, 2am.
