Famous phone tipster @OnLeaks (Twitter) and Indian technology portal Digit came together to reveal some leaked renders of Samsung’s Galaxy S22. If the renders were accurate, the Galaxy S22 would look very similar to a Galaxy Note - S Pen slot and all.

OnLeaks provided the details to Digit, where the latter designed several mockups based on the descriptions provided. Details are very light, save for certain basics. The Galaxy S22 Ultra variant teased would likely have a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. It’s also 8.9mm thick, but the phone’s girth goes up to 10.5mm if the P-shaped rear camera bump is included.

The number of rear cameras in the renders seemed to tally with previous spec leaks of the Galaxy S22 series as well.

More crucial is the S Pen slot included on the device. When the Galaxy S21 came, the Ultra variant supported Samsung’s famous phone styluses, but it did not have a built-in compartment for keeping one. With the indefinite discontinuation of the Galaxy Note series, the rumoured Galaxy S22 Ultra stands as a viable alternative to S Pen fans.

Other details include the flat, angular edges on the rendered Galaxy S22, which follows that of a Galaxy Note20 Ultra - this likely accommodates the S Pen better.
