Samsung Galaxy S21 appears on GeekBench with Snapdragon 888 and 8GB RAM
Two important specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 have been revealed on GeekBench.
Based on the GeekBench entry, there is an unknown Samsung phone with the model number SM-G991U. It is likely to be the upcoming Galaxy S21. The phone is listed with a motherboard "lahaina", which is the codename for the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The phone is also stated to come with Android 11 and 8GB RAM.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S21 lineup next month for two strategic reasons: steal market share from Huawei and ward off competition from Apple. The purported final design of the Galaxy S21+ has been revealed recently, which shows a rear camera module extending from the body of the phone. Android Police claims to have exclusive information on the specs of the Galaxy S21 models with upgrades coming to the display and camera.
